Anxiety disorders are very common and treatable.
Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD)
Individuals diagnosed with Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD) must follow certain repetitive actions or patterns of behavior in order to feel less stressed. These are called compulsions. Additionally, they often have intrusive thoughts or images that are difficult to stop. These are called obsessions. The most common types of obsessions involve worries regarding dirt and germs and anxieties regarding numbers and symmetry. An individual with OCD may experience either or both and they are usually so time-consuming that they begin to interfere with daily activities. Reframe Psychology Clinic is experienced in diagnosing and treating individuals of all ages with OCD.
Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)
It has been estimated that Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) affects about 5% of children worldwide. Research has also indicated that about 40-60% of these children also struggle with anxiety, depression, learning, and social relationships. Early identification and treatment are essential in preventing ongoing difficulties with learning, mood, self-esteem, and sustaining positive relationships. Reframe Psychology Clinic provides in-depth ADHD assessments to identify issues that individuals with ADHD may be struggling with in order to provide proper diagnosis and treatment.
